A $120,000 purchase at the Gold Coast last year the Todd Pannell guided Nishikado  was well placed.

Apprentice Angus Chung earned a farewell present before he returns to Hong Kong when he rode Yeah Yeah Nah to a win in the 1200 metre second race.

Prepared by Morphettville trainer Daryl Carrison, Yeah Yeah Nah  came with a strong run to snatch victory in a close finish to win her first race at her thirteenth start.

An on-course pickup ride at the expense of Jake Toeroek saw Todd Pannell bring up a double when Perfect Illusion took out the 2100 metre third race.

Giving Richard and Chantelle Jolly an early double Perfect Illusion raced in a forward position.

Coming off a last start third the Jake Stephens prepared En Francais  was too strong for his rivals in winning the 1700 metre fourth race.

Having the services of apprentice Lachlan Niendorf En Francais led all the way.

Consistency paid off when Cashin' Chex gave trainer Ashton Downing a win in the 1500 metre fifth race.

Guided to victory by 3kg claiming apprentice Ben Price Cashin' Chex  came from a rearward position with a strong run over the concluding stages.

Showing no form I'm A Legend presented trainer Ashton Downing with a running double in the 1100 metre sixth race.

Giving apprentice Lachlan Neindorf successive wins I'm A Legend was well placed.

Alpine Flyer made it two wins in two starts in the 1500 metre seventh race.

Piloted by Barend Vorster the Jim Smith trained Alpine Flyer came from a midfield position with a strong run from the home turn.

After a short holiday in Bali Kayla Crowther returned to the winners list when she rode Extreme Thrill to a win in the 1200 metre eighth race.

Winning his first race in 420 days the Wayne Francis and Glen Kent prepared Extreme Thrill came from a midfield position with a sharp run over the concluding stages.

Barend Vorster brought up his second winner for the day when he guided Chicago Storm to a win in the 1200 metre final event.

Winning his second race in five starts the David Aldridge prepared Chicago Storm was another runner to be well placed.
