Australian Test cricket captain Pat Cummins has married long-term partner Becky Boston, both posting photos of their wedding day on social media.

Cummins posted a photo of himself and Boston captioned 'Just Married' to his Instagram account on Monday night, confirming they tied the knot in a ceremony in Byron Bay on the far North Coast of NSW on Friday.

The couple had been expected to marry earlier following their engagement in 2020, but their plans were delayed because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their guest list included Cummins's international teammates Nathan Lyon and Mitchell Starc along with Tim Paine, the man he replaced as Test captain.

Cummins and Boston have been together since 2014 and have a nine-month-old son Albie.

The 29-year-old is about to hit a busy period for Australian cricket, with his side trying to make it back-to-back T20 World Cup wins at home in October and November before two summer Tests series against South Africa and the West Indies.
