Australians Jake Matthews and Jack Della Maddalena have put their names up in lights with victories on the UFC 275 main card in Singapore.
Australians have enjoyed a golden UFC 275 with Jake Mattews enjoying the biggest win of his career and Jack Della Maddalena pulling off his 12th straight victory.
The welterweights were promoted to the main card and delivered in style, with Matthews knocking out Andre Fialho and Della Maddalena stopping Ramazan Emeev.
Earlier, fellow Australian Joshua Culibao beat Choi Seung-Woo via decision on the preliminary card.
Perth-based Della Maddalena relished his victory by technical knockout in front of a large contingent of family and friends who travelled to Singapore.
The 25-year-old sealed victory just two minutes and 32 seconds into the first round but had to escape Emeev's submission hold before pulling off a flurry of punches then stopping the Russian with a potent body shot.
"I walked out and I saw my Perth boys standing right as I walked out and that gave me the energy to knock him out cold - not quite," he said in his octagon interview.
Della Maddalena started an "Aussie Aussie Aussie" chant with the crowd, then stressed he was ready to go again.
"If anyone pulls out tonight I'm ready to go. Let's do it," he said.
Matthews, 27, knocked out Fialho with a brilliant flurry of punches in the second round.
"I knew going into this fight it was either knock him out or get knocked out trying, and I just put it together better tonight," Matthews said in the octagon.
"I've had this sort of skill level my entire career and thank God we were able to bring it to the fight this time.
"Everything you've seen from me before this point is 50 per cent of Jake Matthews. So get used to seeing that.
"I guess Jake Matthews isn't the journeyman everyone says he is. I'm a contender now and I'm here to show it."
Matthews also pushed for a spot at Paris in September, where fellow Australians Robert Whittaker and Tai Tuivasa will fight Marvin Vettori and Cyril Gane respectively.
"Bonjour Paris," he said.
"My boys in Australia are fighting in France. I want to get on that card as well - let's go."
Featherweight Culibao, 28, said he was "over the moon" to prevail in a brutal fight with Choi.
"It's always been a dream of mine: to be able to fight in front of all my friends and family in a full, packed-out stadium and on a pay-per-view,' he said.
Earlier, fellow Australian Jacob Malkoun fell heartbreakingly short 29-28 on all three scorecards against American Brendan Allen.
