Thoughts on the win: “It came into the race very well, he got into the race nicely at the weights. The favourite (Go Wandji) had to give us a bit, even though it was out (scratched) which grew our confidence obviously. We both got nice runs, the stablemate (New Arrangement) nearly came down there in the straight. Bullfinch is just in a rich vein of form as is James (Orman). It’s great to see, he’s a little stable favourite.”

Thoughts on New Arrangement interference: “It didn’t look good on the head on but the horse is going great. I’m sure he will have his day.”

Thoughts on the win: “It worked out good. When Go Wandji was scratched I was cheering, but the way we won then, I think it might have been interesting because we really shot through. When we got the run, we shot the gap real quick and he was too good.”

Thoughts on Eagle Farm: “I love the track. The track is racing better today. If you get held up, like that at Doomben, that's probably a different story but, I was lucky. At the 400 meters if you're in front it’s a long way to the winning post so it's better when you're just getting a nice cart into it.”
