“At Cranbourne first-up we drew wide and ended up going forward that day and he just faded late and felt the pinch over the last 100 (metres).

“Credit to John Sadler, the horse has certainly improved coming here today. It was a good effort from probably further back than we intended to be but he showed a good turn-of-foot and fight at the end.

“He has performed well up on speed in the past but after today with the speed on, nice cover and building momentum he showed a bit of turn-of-foot so he’s very versatile.”
