“It’s a well deserved win. It’s good not to run second. Probably first-up, (the run) was probably a blip on the radar. There were excuses. Every run to-date has been great.
On the unplaced run at Flemington an possible tongue issues: “Possibly. Maybe where she was on that particular date down the straight wasn’t the place to be either. But that’s a blip on the radar and she’s done a really good job today.
“I’m sure she’s got a bit of improvement in her - naturally and physically - and it’s onwards and upwards for her.
Future runs: “She is nominated for the Percy Sykes Stakes in Sydney - two-year-old fillies race. We’ll let the dust settle today and see how well she gets through it.”
