“That was an unbelievable ride. She didn’t move off the fence. Showed patience of a senior jockey and used the weight advantage to her advantage. Congratulations to Carleen on a terrific ride.

“He had a bit of a virus after his win at Flemington. It wasn’t my idea to give him a spring (campaign) but we had to put him out. We came back at the right time.

“I don’t really know where he sits at the moment. I know he wants more than a mile so there might be a nice race over 2000 or 2400 metres.”

Winning Jockey: Carleen Hefel

Replicated Damien Oliver’s path on Superstorm earlier: “I thought if Damien (Oliver) can go up on the fence then I can too.

“He’s such a tough horse. Anything you give him he shows that he can do it. He was sweating on a run and once that small gap appears, he’s there.”
