“I was very thrilled to see her win again today. Another metro win to her CV.

“He’s just the best, Brett Prebble. You couldn’t speak highly enough of him. Great ride, knows the horse well.

“I’ll be interesting what he says. I think she just gets the six (furlongs), the 1200 metres, but she’s so game, so tough. A real thrill for the stable and all the owners.”

Can she keep going: “(With) any horse it is day-by-day but we’ll see how she is. She is definitely a horse that likes to get her toe in, too. I’ll speak to the ownership group but we might give her one more run and then look to the autumn.”

Winning Jockey: Brett Prebble

How have you seen progression: “I was surprised today. She had a softer run than last time and she was found wanting but I think she was coming off a peak run when I won on her. She came off that and conserved a bit of energy for today and she gave it to me. I don’t think she’ll go on next time and bring out another big one like today. It’s hard to keep rallying and keep bringing out that big performance. I think she ran it out fine and liked that little short straight here over 1200 (metres) which is more her go to.”

People behind the scenes supporting you: “I’ve got a new manager, Liam Prior. He’s a great manager, a good fella, a good mate. He’s not only good with my work, but he keeps me in a good headspace which is important. He understands. He’s been in the game a long time. He’s worked with Chris Waller a lot of years and he’s been under enormous pressure that we sometimes put ourselves under, so he’s been fantastic to me. I’ve got some good trainers there supporting me, giving me good rides on a Saturday and I’m rewarding them with some winners as well.”
