Moving to Cranbourne shortly: “We’ve probably got two weeks. The Melbourne Racing Club are snapping at our heels there. So hopefully we can get in in the next couple of weeks.”

The horse - the difference between last start: “Up in trip, I’d say. Forget Moonee Valley. Put a line through that one. Nothing happened there for us.

“She’s a big scopey filly. We liked her as a yearling and had a lot of joy with her. She’s had a couple of rough races but it was good to see her get 2000 metres.”

What’s next: “You’re always chasing black type, aren’t you. We probably timed that run to get a bit of black type for her but she’s  a big scopey, sound filly. You never know.”

Winning Jockey: Patrick Maloney

“She’s just developed into a staying filly. I thought when I first rode her she might be able to stretch out to 1400 metres. She was going to limit herself in that aspect.

“Great job by the Price/Kent team to get the miles in her legs and find that stamina. She’s definitely got that aerobic capacity there which opens a lot more doors.

“Today, a benchmark 64 race worth $150,000 and when the favourite came out it was a fantastic opportunity for connections and the Price/Kent team to get a city winner.”
