“Very happy. We were quite nervous before the race because she’s had a lot of bad luck this prep and five second placings since her last win 18 months ago. We knew she had the quality and she’s come back in great order this prep.

“We were confident but nervous at the same time today. Oli rode a perfect race and she showed her class today.”

“It was nice just to get a good trail behind the leader. I’d actually ridden the leader before and I kind of knew she’d take me a fair way.

“This filly has been very consistent but found it hard to win at times. She’s very genuine but just has either found one better or been a bit unlucky at times. Very consistent and a good deserved win for her.

“She’s obviously very well-placed this time in and she’s borderline stakes company. She’s competitive at that level then if there is a little listed fillies & mares races around that 1100 metres, I think that is the ideal trip for her and she’d be more than competitive.”

Feeling not being at Magic Millions this time: “It’s a little quieter, obviously some of the boys are away. Still some good racing here but it’s good to have some people here, good to have people to come back to. It’s great to see people back at the races. It adds to the atmosphere.”
