Goes well second-up: “It’s just the routine, I’d say. We give her a couple of nice trials each prep now and she comes out first-up and blows up a little bit late. With the improvement at the end of each run she improves second-up and she’s set in her ways.
“She worked super at home and we’ve been happy with the improvement she’s made in the coat. She’s come on super and we thought the similar routine that she’s had in the last couple of preps would work and it has today.
“It was all about box-seating with her today. If she jumped well she was going to get the right run and it was just textbook. It was like the heavens opened around the corner and Damian (Lane) got her into the right part of the track and she quickened nicely. It couldn’t have been better.”
What’s next: “We’re going to try and find as many dry as possible with her. It’s tricky at this time of year but she’s definitely more effective on a drier track. Whether there’s a race in Adelaide or keep her here, we’ll go where the track suit her.”

“She was going well and travelled sweetly the whole way. I was confident a long way out.
“She was good. I knew that a couple of the better chances would be back off the speed so I knew that there’d be some chasing but luckily enough she was tough.”
