“Firstly a testament to the whole team. They’ve done a very good job with this horse and he has been in work a long time.

“Really to have him running like this so late in the season is a testament to them.

“Really super chuffed about today’s win.”

What’s next: “I guess we’ll take it a step-by-step process. We’ll see how he pulls up. We could be greedy and come back towards the end of the month and take advantage of him VOBIS qualifications but we’ll see how he pulls up.

“He looks like a nice type of horse that we’ll be able to program and manage to some nice races next season.”

Winning Jockey: Jamie Kah

“I apologise, I can’t see very well. I got smacked in the face by a shoe, I reckon, at the 1000 (metre mark).

“This horse has improved massively and he has taken a lot of confidence out of that win.

“He’s probably a horse that you don’t want to end up in front too soon on but he was just travelling so well that I had to let him improve and he put them away so well today. He’s on the up.”
