The horse: “The win is very satisfying because he’s a homebred (by father Neville) and the horse has been going really, really well. His Sandown form is terrible, every time I’ve run him at Sandown he’s run disgracefully- Jamie Kah rode him his last start and she said, oh, he didn’t go very well, he might have dogged it a bit back on the inside of horses.

He had a massive drop in weight today , he went from 61 to 54.5 and it does make a difference. The horse has been training really well at home, we came here reasonably confident, even though his form card said otherwise but we really thought the horse had a really nice chance.

On the ride: “He gave him a gorgeous ride today, one out three back and just presented at the right time and he let down.

Today’s race: “Running in the 64s (benchmark) he gets 61 kilos so we thought we’ll put him up in grade and we’ll get a little bit of weight relief, drop him again with the three-kilo claim and he’ll get in really really well.

Winning Jockey: Logan McNeil

First Flemington win: “It’s unbelievable really, to get a winner yesterday and now at Flemington today.

The run: “We wanted to be midfield, no worse and there was quite nice speed on early. He got me in a lovely position. I just had to remind him what the job was at the 800 (metres), he was travelling quite well at the 400 and I knew he was going to be hard to beat. When Johnny Allen’s horse (Unanimous) came up my inside he put his ears back and went again
