On the win: “He’s a real warrior, just loves to be in work and racing. He got a 10 out of 10 ride today and was too good. The ear muffs today helped him relax , normally he gets going but he travelled beautifully behind them with the soft run and when got clear, he went bang and was too good.

Winning Jockey: Jamie Mott

On the win: “It was very comfortable - I’ve watched his last couple (of runs) in the blinkers and he has been over doing it a bit in his races but once I got him into a rhythm he spat the bridle out and I grew more confident as the race went on.

On the run: “I just needed a little bit of luck on the corner to get out but once I did he put a space on them and won really well.

Future options: “Simon has done a fantastic job with him and he presented in great order today, it’s probably the best he’s relaxed in a race and is he can perform like that and switch off in his races over this trip with the turn of foot he’s got he’s in for a good few runs I think
