Her consistency: “She’s taken a little bit of time to get here, Andrew Bobbin’s done a lot of work with her at his farm and this time around she’s really come on and really put in good performances.”

The distance: “We thought 1100m was the query, we wanted to ride her as soft as we could. We told Matty (Cartwright) to ride her as cute as possible and it’s really paid off but she’s run it out really solidly so it’s pretty impressive.”

Winning Jockey: Matthew Cartwright

How the race unfolded: “She gave me a sweet ride, we planned to get cover but we couldn’t gain any cover, she jumped too well to get it so I just held onto her and made sure she creeped right into it and she gave a good kick and won well.”

The track: “It’s a genuine (soft) five now. I think it’ll play pretty evenly all day.”
