Winning Trainer: Ciaron Maher & David Eustace (David interviewed)

“I was a bit worried on the turn, to be honest. She just seems to get herself in trouble. I know she wasn’t a long way back but she was in an awkward spot.

“She’s got a good turn-of-foot and she’s very honest. It was a very ride by Johnny and she just keeps progressing.”

What’s next: “We’ll obviously go to a stakes race. Which one? Not sure. There’s some obvious races in Adelaide - we’d need to have a look and see what’s up in Sydney.

“Again, great to win in these colours. Great day for the team across the whole state, country, and we really appreciate their work.”

Winning Jockey: John Allen

“Probably our best performance, really. The team and the owners thought that if she got on a bit of wet ground she’d be even better. A bit of give in the ground today she really showed that dynamic turn-of-foot.

“On that performance I think she’s definitely something to look forward to.”

Is she that responsive: “She hasn’t been as instance the last runs. Today she hung back on the fence and when that gap came she really accelerated quick and it was instance. On that soft track she got through it easier than others.”
