Winning Trainer: Ben & JD Hayes (Ben speaking)

“It was a great ride by Josh Richards - rated him perfectly.

“He put the pressure on on the bend and got everything under pressure and that’s what he can do, he can maintain a strong hard sprint right to the finish line.

“He improved today and I think that was a very exciting win by the horse.

“It would be exciting heading towards a Blamey (as) he’d be the fit horse on the scene there. I think if you win you get to enter the All-Star Mile so it could be a plan that we’ll think about. We’ll see how the horse pulls up.”

Winning Jockey: Josh Richards

“He got lovely run. There was no pressure really put onto him. He’s a horse that has a very high cruising speed and does it really easily.”
