“She’s just as honest as they come and if you look at her run at Stony Creek two runs back, the form out of that race has held up quite well so we were confident coming into today.

“I thought she was a bit underrated.

“She stumbled a bit at the start but Madison rode her a treat. I was quite happy where she was in the run.

“She’s just so honest and I think that will take her a long way.”

Winning Jockey: Madison Lloyd

“We just out of the gates and she wanted to go faster than she could in that ground. She had a couple of dips.

“She crossed the inside horses more comfortably than I thought I was going to but just had horses pressuring to my outside, I couldn’t hold him out.

“I ended up having to let Baronessa cross, I couldn’t hold them out. I thought I’d be a bit patient.

“I knew I wanted to be on the fence or a little bit off but I knew it (the gap) was going to come.”

1000 best distance: “Yes she can get comfortable in the middle stages. She’s that quick out of the gates. She’s only got that short little sprint but once she does that it’s perfect.”
