Winning Trainer: Symon Wilde

On dead-heating with Foxy Frida: “We’re happy to share it with Foxy Frida. Funnily enough, I think they both had their first start here at Bendigo in a maiden and ran one-two and they’ve been bumping into each other nearly every race they’ve had. We’ll share it with her, we’re happy with that.”

On returning to form: “It was good to see her bound back. We thought she was going a little bit better, she was a fraction disappointing at Flemington, but it was really good to see her bounce back to form today.”

Winning Trainer: Andrew Noblet

On dead-heating with Sirileo Miss: “These two have been battling it out their last preparation, they’ve started off the same this one and I dare say they’ll be meeting each other again. It’s a good little rivalry and they’re both lovely mares.”

On whether he thought he’d won: “I thought we’d won crossing the line at normal speed but then looking at the print (on screen) it was hard to tell. It is what it is and she’s got a good preparation ahead of her.”

Winning Jockey: Damien Oliver

On whether he thought he’d won: “I honestly didn’t know.”

On the performance: “I thought it was a good effort. I wasn’t really planning to lead but she’s a big-striding mare and I just didn’t want to interrupt her or get in her way. I was happy with a bit of momentum and if No Effort hadn’t come at me so early in the straight she might have had the victory, but it was a good tough effort.”
