Pre-race antics: “That’s just her, she definitely takes extra attention, from loading her into a float to getting into the barriers but all the people that have helped us get here make it all worthwhile.”

Back to form: “She had chips taken out of her knee after her two-year-old career, she’s taken a while to get back and that run the other day was gut wrenching to get beaten 30 lengths first up but she just couldn’t handle the track, it was bottomless. So we regrouped, she won a trial impressively, came down here and we drew barrier 15 which makes it hard but she showed us what she can do.”

Next plans: “She won’t stay here for the Winter, she’ll go home but I think there’s a big chance she’ll come back.”

Winning Jockey: Michael Dee

Gate speed: “She did get quite worked up before the race, prior to that she was very good but as soon as they started loading she really turned it up and switched on. She’s got tremendous gate speed and I couldn't believe how strong she was in the last furlong, to run that speed the whole way is certainly a tremendous effort.”

Suited to Caulfield: “The draw looked pretty awkward but I was saying prior to the race that I’d actually rather be drawn that wide with a horse that’s got speed because at Caulfield with the rail out, there can more often than not be hard luck stories if you’re back to the inside.”

“Hopefully she stays down here, obviously looking for the drier tracks. Certainly onwards and upwards from here.”
