On the performance: “He’s certainly an exciting colt. It was nice to see him get a half length on them and drop the bit and then canter up to them on the turn and put the other horse away.

On fitness: “He had a nice little let up from his first two victories and then came back and had a nice tick over trial 10 days ago . He was certainly up to the mark for today but not screwed down so there should be a nice bit of improvement there. He ran right through the line so maybe he’ll get six furlongs in time.

Future targets: “We were just hoping to get this win out of the way and then maybe map out a little bit of a plan. Obviously he’s a colt with good ability so there’s plenty of options for him.

Improvement from last preparation: “He’s definitely improved, the break has done him the world of good. He was more relaxed today, previously he’d wanted to do a bit too much but today he was well within himself, relaxed and showed a good turn of foot which will help him going forward in better races.

Future potential: “He’s obviously done well - three from three and from a maiden to midweek and now Saturday and win impressively each time. At the moment there’s no ceiling on where he can get to , he’ll tell us what level he is at.
