“He had her in a very good rhythm all the way through the race. We left it up to him to have her traveling and get her breathing right. She’ll do the rest for you.

“The other day she got a bit buffeted around last start, midway through the race lost her position.

“Then he was trying to get a run halfway up the straight and got disappointed (for a run). But that was pretty devastating today and she’s certainly got plenty of upside.

“She’s been a bit quirky and taken a while to get to the races. She’s still developing her skill sets. She’s not that easy but you know what, she’s getting better every time we go to the races which is great.”

“If she keeps progressing then we can see her at another level.

“I’m thankful for the owners for sticking with me today. A bit of bad luck last time and it wouldn’t have been had we got clear running and we probably would have seen the same result as we did today.
