Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays for Australian TAB meetings on October 18.
Two TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Thursday at Moe and Mackay.
Moe: Race 6 @ 3:25pm
HAUNTED made the hat-trick at Flemington 2U and did it big. He’s a progressive Godolphin galloper who clearly rates to win again getting a nice sit from the low gate. SUPERHARD won at Geelong and then missed a lip at Mornington after. Settles back but will be hitting the line hard with the weight drop. KING LEAR has won 6/11 and resumes off a Newcastle trial win. Gets the handy gate and a bold run is on the cards. SMART COUPE has performed in Group company and will be better 3U. SELECTIONS: # 4 Haunted can keep things rolling.

Mackay: Race 6 @ 5:55pm
Authadane can boot up from the inside draw. CRAIGLEA VIRTUE has made a promising start to her career. Her lone win did come this track/distance here last month when winning impressively. Back from BM70 grade and rates a strong winning chance. YEEZY has dominated the picnic circuit his past couple. Obviously has to go up a notch here but the margins have been dominant and many of these are battling for winning form. Can measure-up. RUFFY ROAD best of the remainder. Can sit handy and fight out the finish.
SELECTIONS: Craiglea Virtue gets the nod.
