Today’s Horse Racing Tips – November 18

3 minute read

Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for November 18.

Sunshine Coast: Race 7 @ 5.50pm (AEDT)
SHE GOES POP led and fought on well when runner up at this distance last start. That was her fifth placing from six attempts at the trip and she is in form having scored here two back. Drawn to get the run of the race. Top chance. HAPPY GO PLUCKY worked home well for fourth over a mile at Doomben last start. This is easier and may be looking for this journey. LUCKY CAPTAIN is another coming off a fourth in the city and won at this trip before that. MARTINELLI could take catching if allowed to dictate. SELECTIONS: #4 She Goes Pop has found the right race. Backing to win.

Geelong: Race 4 @ 3.20pm
PARSIFAL recorded his first placing this prep when third at Echuca. Should be at his peak fourth up. Knocking on the door and gets the 1.5kg claim used to good effect. FAST PLAN was making late ground first up over 1100m. Better suited over this distance and has won second up in the past. ALL THAT SHE WANTS back in grade also warrants consideration. Folded badly at Morphettville last start. Prior to that though led throughout to win first up at Wangaratta. SPICER comes here off a last start win at Stawell. Keep safe. SELECTIONS: #2 Parsifal is ready to peak and win.

Canberra: Race 7 @ 5:00pm
Tunnel Rat and Luga Lad should inject a genuine speed. BRIX races first-up. Placed at Scone under these conditions last time in. Competitive in better races throughout his short career and can open his account from the inside draw. Overmeire down to ride is a positive lead. TRUMP ME was strongly fancied on debut but was too far back to be a winning possibility. Wide draw today is some concern but he'll be improved by the race experience and is in the right stable. LADY LUGA made solid improvement last start. Peaking this afternoon. SELECTIONS: #1 Brix to end proceedings.

Newcastle: Race 8 @ 5:30pm
RHEINGAU is first-up for the new stable (Ex James Cummings). Winner here when last sighted defeating Galway Girl. Talented on his day and he gets a charmed run from the draw. Best form has been at this track. OXFORD ANGEL is awkwardly drawn. Gets in well with the claim and does have scope to improve. Danger. BID 'N' BARE has impressed on the country circuit of late. Aims for three in a row and is highly untapped. Watch market. SELECTIONS: #6 Rheingau has each way appeal.
