Looks like getting the right run for a gun jock. PRETTY BELLA resumes. Fresh winner last time around and best form rates well. EVOLUTIONIST is also first up. He can figure in the right race for a yard getting around the money of late. SELECTIONS: #4 Vivacity makes plenty of appeal from #5 and #1.
TYCOON TONY placed here 2U in easier but ran a strong figure. Gets the rail and the low weight and he could surprise. LIBERTY SONG races handy and was good placing 2U at Gundagai. Fitter and that stacks up. MY MAHER draws to advantage and made sharp improvement 10 days ago winning the Snake Gully Cup. Is 3/5 this trip but is back 400m today. BEAU TIRAGE draws low and will be better 2U. Has disappointed for a while but has the ability and Cahill sticks. SELECTIONS: #6 Tycoon Tony hasn’t won for a while but rated well the latest and is an each way go.
Ballina: Race 5 @ 4:15pm
OOSHE made an encouraging return when a close second at this course and distance. Her lone career win came second up so expect she can improve. That could be enough for her to win this. ONE STRYKE resumes having won fresh before. Has a big weight but this looks a suitable assignment. MILLINERY led throughout win at this track and trip last outing. Could go on with it. VOUCH FOR ME has won fresh before. Market watch. SELECTIONS: #4 Ooshe to win after getting close first up from #1, #3 and #2.
