Massive TAB Dividends In 2018

The TAB has released its annual list of the TAB tote dividends in NSW and Victoria in 2018.

The lists are based on the calendar year of January 1 through to December 31 and has produced some mammoth results across all tote-based betting products.

Once again, exotic bet types produced some huge dividends.

The highest dividend of the year was a monster First 4 paid by the Victorian TAB on the Thousand Guineas during the spring carnival.

Amphitrite’s success, along with $101 shot Fundamentalist running second and hot favourite Smart Melody missing out, saw a whopping $314,014.30 return!

Memsie Stakes’ Day produced the highest Quaddie of the year while international racing again saw some mouth watering dividends with South African racing featuring heavily.

The highest Win dividend of the year went to Shanches which saluted at the Limerick (Ireland) card on Boxing Day.

Other Victorian TAB highlights include:

• Shanches was the highest priced winner of the year at a huge $437.70 for the ‘Win’

• The Quaddie on Memsie Stakes Day paying $163,549.50

• Warrnambool producing the highest Early Quaddie dividend for 2018 ($80,000 +)

• Broughty Ferry, which won at Geelong on May 27, taking the honours for being the biggest priced winner on a Victorian race ($173.10)

In NSW the BIG6 at Randwick on August 4 returned a whopping $232,309.40 after roughie Letter To Juliette took out the first leg.

Other NSW highlights included:

• The Championships (Day 1) was the scene for the highest Early Quaddie dividend of 2018 after El Dorado Dreaming ($105.80) won the last leg and returned $122,384.10.

• Harness racing took the top two ‘Win’ dividends of the year thanks to Avenir ($374) and Mini Masterpiece ($252.70)

• Fallada’s win ($135.10) at Goulburn on March 15 for jockey Shaun Guymer was the highest priced thoroughbred winner on a NSW race for the year
