Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays for Australian TAB meetings on January 10.
Four TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Thursday at Muswellbrook, Geelong, Rockhampton & Geraldton.
Muswellbrook: Race 1 @ 1:50pm
Hyper can press on from a centre stall. CHARLOTTE'S HEART was strong through the line on debut in a harder race at Newcastle. Will be improved by the experience and should relish this distance. Shame about the barrier but is in the right hands. Should go close. HYPER kept to the task well at Scone when having his first start. Sent out big odds on that occasion but clearly exceeded expectations. Greg Ryan links aboard and he presents with a leading chance. BEAUFORT PARK was respected in betting when weakening on the run at Goulburn in a handy maiden. Expect they settle closer here if conditions allow and he must be kept safe. SELECTIONS: Charlotte's Heart to open proceedings.

Geelong: Race 5 @ 3:30pm
Life In Manhattan can press on from the deep. GRACIOUS GARCON is the one to beat. Runner-up at Caulfield last start behind Cryptic Jewel. Heading in the right direction and can win this on the path to better things. BACKFILL has been given time since running fourth at Pakenham in July last year. Not sighted publicly in readiness but the booking of Oliver suggests they are keen. ACCREDIT should be kept safe in the market. SELECTIONS: Gracious Garcon for the win.
Rockhampton: Race 7 @ 6:25pm (AEDT)
SPRING CREEK is racing in terrific form with three wins and a close second from her past four outings. Has fought hard to win her past two at this course, overcoming a wide run last time. Tough to beat again. VAN WINKEL has been good in his two runs this campaign and improved his rating when runner up last start. Peaking third up. Big threat. DAMN FINE won at Townsville then raced wide but still ran on last start. Rates highly. SELECTIONS: #5 Spring Creek is racing in top form. Backing to win again from #10 and #7.
