Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for March 11.

Morphettville: Race 7 @ 4.45pm (AEDT)

From this start they often hack early but then you need to find a spot in the big field so the pressure mounts into the first turn. It is certainly not the strongest Adelaide Cup ever. BONDEIGER (3) won the lead up Lord Reims Stakes comfortably eased down late. He was set for this early on and the barrier just makes it so helpful. NAVAL WARFARE (4) always runs well and ran into a very good horse last week. Has a great distance rider on here. FABRIZIO (2) possibly tries to lead all the way. That last bit is his worry. SURPRISE BABY (16) had issues last week so the prep is strange but is bred to love it. SELECTIONS: #3 Bondeiger is a safe way but #4 Naval Warfare more value.

Ballarat: Race 7 @ 5.00pm

SHAMWOW (10) was scratched recently and saved for this. Fresh up winner then seventh in Group 3 class last time at Flemington. Huge class drop and is the one to beat here. COZHECANCAN (7) has been building to a win and looks a danger. Placed latest when racing close to the speed and will go close o er the mile here. GYPSY BIKER (5) make debut with a win over 1300m and has good upside. Looks suited at the longer journey. GELIGNITE JACK (8) is fitter for two runs in and can improve sharply here from the rails. BOLTOUTOFTHEBLUE (2) placed second up and has further improvement SELECTIONS: #10 Shamwow the one to beat.
