Seven TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Friday at Orange, Port Macquarie, Cranbourne (night), Wangaratta, Rockhampton, Albany & Mt Gambier.

Orange: Race 5 @ 3:28pm

Hard to map with so many first starters - Artie's Rose has the superior gate speed of those we have seen. With the scratching of Longbottom RUBIC HONOUR (4) looks the goods on debut. By Rubick from the dam of two winners including Enbihaar who placed in a Blue Diamond. Trialling well and looks above average. Another Rubick first starter in CONTALMAISON (1) from the Allan Denham stable has to be respected on the back of a couple of sound trials. ESTRADO (8) led into the straight but knocked up to finish well back over 1200m at Warwick Farm recently. With some race experience under the belt he is capable of sticking on strongly over the shorter trip. Expect a better run today from ARTIE'S ROSE (6) second up. SELECTIONS: Keen on the beautifully bred #4 Rubic Honour on debut.

Port Macquarie: Race 1 @ 1:25pm

Smokin' Quartz and Spirited Belle to race forward in what looks a low-pressure sprint race. Hard to go past SNITZEL REIGN (2) who hadn't raced for 16 months before his eye-catching 2nd over this course and distance last start. Any natural progression should see him take this out. GO LASSIE GO (12) couldn't keep up early but rallied late to get up for 4th when resuming over 1000m at Muswellbrook last time out. Improved sharply second up last prep so expecting another big run here. SMOKIN' QUARTZ (8) was strong late when 3rd at Muswellbrook recently over 1280m. Each-way claims again with the light weight. AMBERLE (6) for trifecta punters. SELECTIONS: #2 Snitzel Reign will be too good for these.

Mt Gambier: Race 6 @ 4:10pm

Bel Robbie runs along and can lead them up from the reasonable gate. BEL ROBBIE (1) brought good form to Ararat and had no luck. Made amends after winning the 58 at Avoca. That reads well for this and no surprise if she wins again. SPARKLING CURRENCY (4) won and placed at the provincials and then was slow off and found the grade a bit rich at Morphettville. He should clear the gate okay and rates a genuine hope. ROHLON DRUNK (3) was okay resuming and has plenty up the sleeve. Is a second up winner who is right in it with Tourneur sticking. ORACABESSA (7) can also improve with the run under the belt and is well in the mix. SELECTIONS: #1 Bel Robbie looks a bet at the each way quote.

Wangaratta: Race 7 @ 4:30pm

ME CABO (6) is fitter for two runs in and is ready to win. Rates strongly and has never missed the placings this trip including maiden win. BLAZING ASH (3) has been freshened since fading into third latest but take catching here over the shorter journey. RADIANT WARRIOR (9) can improve again on her first up performance when runner up. Placed 2/2 second up and expected to be in the finish. FIGHTING SHADOW (4) is ready to show best. SELECTIONS Me Cabo ready to win.
