Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays for Australian TAB meetings on May 28.
Four TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Tuesday at Albury, Newcastle, Hamilton & Rockhampton.
Newcastle: Race 2 @ 12:55pm
Rexx will dictate terms. ONE FIRE BEACH (5) was a real eye-catcher last time out over 1200m at Warwick Farm, quickening impressively in the final furlong to almost pull off a spectacular win. Will be very hard to hold out today on a bigger track over extra ground. REXX (1) was resuming from a six-week break when he led and knocked up over 1600m at Warwick Farm recently. Big maiden winner at Gosford the run before - has definite claims on that form. TAKE TO HEART (6) made up many lengths to finish a close 2nd over 1250m at Taree last start. Promising filly who is crying out for this sort of trip. SAVING (2) will be ready to peak third up. SELECTIONS: #5 One Fire Beach is perfectly placed to win.

Albury: Race 4 @ 2:10pm
Gotta Want It has the pace to lead from Rippling Waters at a solid tempo. GOTTA WANT IT (3) led into the lane but found one stronger close to home when making his debut last time out over 1175m at this circuit. Will be tough to catch with less pressure up front over the longer trip today. CONSTANT FLOW (5) took control before the corner but found one better last start over this distance at Wodonga. Very fit now after four runs back and if he finds some cover from the awkward gate will be hard to hold out. TOLERANT WAY (14) closed well to finish 2nd to a dominant winner over this course and distance recently. Drops 4kgs under today's scale so must be respected. RIPPLING WATERS (11) can improve today with the blinkers going on. SELECTIONS: #3 Gotta Want It has plenty of upside and is well-placed to break through.
Hamilton: Race 4 @ 2:30pm
SWEET VENOM (8) improved again missing a lip at Warnambool a month ago hitting the line well. Four winners have come out of that and the mare is clearly the one to beat. VALENTINA STAR (10) debuts from the rail and is in a sharp yard. Expect her to have good ability and go well. FAREWELL GRETA (7) will push forward and just missed resuming as favourite. Has to be a chance building on that. KEPI BLANC (3) debuts with the blinkers applied and has looked good at the trials. Rawiller is an interesting engagement. REGAL EFFORT resumes for the new yard with John Allen engaged. Improvement won’t surprise.SELECTIONS: A day where the top chances have been well found. #8 Sweet Venom looks well-suited.
Rockhampton: Race 6 @ 3:50pm
MARWAY (8) seeks the hat-trick and has been doing it easily this venue from the front. Draws to advantage and keeps improving. Can keep things rolling. MR ATTITUDE (2) is also looking for the hat-trick winning them easily at Mackay. Gets the rail and the form hoop Butler and will be right in the finish. SCORCHA (10) was back to her best winning the 69 easily here 24 days ago. Gets the weight drop and is a live hope with a repeat. NOW ASK ME (9) is also a last start winner with a each way hopes. SELECTIONS: #8 Marway to keep things rolling.
