Today’s Horse Racing Tips – 21st November 2020

3 minute read

Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian metropolitan meetings for November 21.

Ascot: Race 8 @ 7:40pm (AEDT)
INSPIRATIONAL GIRL (11) won four of her last five. The form through her last win has held up nicely. She can measure right up. RED CAN MAN (8) was game in defeat at WFA. Is ready for the mile now. Drops nicely in weight. Could be hard to beat again.  KAY CEE (4) is at her peak now though worse off at the weights for beating Red Can Man. Still is classy. A good chance. KEMENTARI (1) has drawn well. Might not be left out while TRULY GREAT (15) will be running on. SELECTION: Backing #11 Inspirational Girl for the win.

Kembla Grange: Race 4 @ 2:45pm

DESTINATION (7) failed to get into the finish last start, but like him kept fresh (28 days) and he appears better suited dropping back to 1000m. Unbeaten here (2/2) and Bowman back on a further push. Should get a lovely suck run from the inside draw and looks very hard to beat. HULK (8) continued his good run of form last start when finishing a narrow second behind Switched. Hasn't done a lot of winning, but is rarely far away and has to be included. BROKEN ARROWS (3) goes well fresh and is more than capable when right. Drawn to get into the right spot and has to be kept safe, along with MANSA MUSA (5) who is 3/4 first up. SELECTION: Very keen on #7 Destination.

Sunshine Coast: Race 5 @ 4:13pm (AEDT)
SCATHING (3) made an encouraging return when he raced on speed and fought on for second over 1200m at Doomben. Fitter for that having scored second up before and won his only previous visit to this track. Winning claims. GEE TEE TEE (1) finished just half a length from the winner when resuming over 1200m at Doomben last time. His record at the course and the distance is impressive. Expect another bold showing. LADY BRAHMOS (10) ran on to score over 1200m at this track last time. That gave her two wins and two placings from her past four starts so deserves respect. STYLISH SAGA (4) won well fresh and has scored second up before so could go on with it. GIN 'N' BITTERS (9) is working up to a win. SELECTION: #3 Scathing to win second up.

Ballarat: Race 9 @ 5:05pm

Looks an ideal race for THE ASTROLOGIST (3) who was only edged out at Flemington by a good one and had won like he was back better than ever on his return. This is perfect for him. WHIPCRACKER WAY (4) was beaten around the Valley last time but back in trip was against him there. Better suited here where he can travel into the race and he has a hope. HAWKER HURRICANE (1) is good enough and must be respected on his return. Good horse for the summer months, as is CAN'T BE DONE (2) who has excuses resuming and will improve sharply. HARD LANDING (9) had no excuses last time but ran well and this suits. SELECTION: Backing #3 The Astrologist.
