GEELONG: RACE 5 @ 6:00 PM
SAVANNAH CLOUD (4) looks like one of the anchors of the day. First-up here and brings Caulfield Guineas Prelude form here having finished 3 lengths from Crosshaven. That from is enough for this. GARVOC (3) wasn't suited to black type racing last prep. Can go alright fresh so has to be included. NASUKAWA (1) didn't have a lot of luck carrying a big weight at Werribee. Ran alright second-up last time at Donald. Place chance at least. CARDICE (7) scored at BM58 level last start, Steps up and might find a few stronger but has to be included in trifectas. DOUBLE DINK (2) returned well last start and isn't without a hope rising in grade. Also include in exotics. SELECTION: #4 Savannah Cloud the win.

MACKAY: RACE 3 @ 3:48 PM (AEDT)
MORE THAN LUCK (1) finished off strongly when beaten 1.4 lengths last time at Rockhampton. Placed at both runs this time in and peaks now. Gets chance to find winning form. SNEAKY GAL (9) has been in the market at her last couple of starts but hasn't made an impression, last start running fifth at Townsville. Light weight with the claim and placed only try here. Expecting a strong run in this field. DEMURRAL (2) worked home into the money when third last time at Rockhampton. Will be storming home late and can run on into the finish. RAW INSTINCT (8) finished fifth last start, beaten 4.5 lengths at Rockhampton over 1600m. Can figure in the finish. NOT A SINGLE DAY (5) has claims while fresh. SELECTION: #1 More Than Luck looks ready.
GOSFORD: RACE 4 @ 4:05 PM
DUCHESS MARIZZA (4) has won on her only start at this track and will strip fitter third-up. Looks the one to beat. MAJOR ARTIE (2) has been good this campaign and is the main danger. DEADLY IMPACT (1) was very good running second in a Highway at Rosehill two starts back and only needs to show that again to be in the finish. UNDERBOSS (5) has won over this distance and SIR EAGLE (8) rarely runs a bad race. SELECTION: #4 Duchess Marizza each-way.
BORDERTOWN: RACE 5 @ 5:05 PM (AEDT)
VON COSTA GLASS (1) comes off an impressive Murray Bridge win when he worked into the clear late and powered over the top of rivals. The 2000m looks ideal and he gets in well via the claim. MR RECKLESS (2) had some specking and was only beaten 2.1 lengths behind Skillful Steps at Penola last time and the extra trip looks suits. SENTRY GATE (8) DYAGILEV (3) ran well behind Stan The Caddy at Gawler and has good record this track and trip. He looks nicely suited form a good barrier. CENTENARY SHOT (7) could be an improver here and his best is certainly good enough to figure. SELECTION: #1 Von Costa Glass to win.
LAUNCESTON: RACE 3 @ 6:50 PM
HERO OF ROMANI (4) has placed 2/3 all on the synthetic and he'll be better for the first up run. Trialled strongly twice on the grass leading into that and fitter he'd the one to beat drawn to advantage. BOSS CHEYENNE (7) has just gone down the last two with the latest here. Peaks now and will push forward and may end up controlling the race. A decent chance. FIGHTING FRANK (1) is better than the formline suggests. Was only beaten 1L here the latest but needs to manage the outside gate this evening. STEPASIDE ROUSEY (10) resumes and is better that the formline suggests. Will race over further but no surprise to see her run into it. SELECTION: #4 Backing Hero Of Romani.
ASCOT: RACE 5 @ 7:10 PM (AEDT)
BOMBARDMENT (5) comes off a win at Bunbury and goes well over the mile. Looks like one the better chances of the day. YULONG EARTH (4) just needs to stay steadier when the pressure is on. In with a show in this and goes ok at the track. LAYLO (7) scored last start at Pinjarra at good odds. Might find this a little harder but a win wouldn't surprise. INDOMINUS (2) can run on but might find a few stronger. Include in exotics along with CHAMPAGNE GAL (10) who might've had a 'dip' run last start. Can do better. SELECTION: #5 Bomardment the win.
