The Grand National is on Saturday but today is Day 1 of the famous Aintree Festival with four Grade 1 events on the card.
Our best bet is in Race 2, the G1 Jewson Anniversary Hurdle over 3410 metre. We've also got one for you in the G1 Aintree Hurdle over 4023 metres. Best of luck!
AINTREE – Race 2 No. 7 – Pied Piper ($1.95, Ladbrokes)
PIED PIPER (7) won his first two hurdle outings with style before an excellent runner-up effort in the 3380m G1 Triumph Hurdle over the Cheltenham Festival. Expected to prove hard to beat if replicating.
AINTREE – Race 4 No. 7 – Epatante ($2.80, Ladbrokes)
EPATANTE (7) is an honourable mare who ran an excellent second in the 3290m G1 Champion Hurdle at Cheltenham. Tough to beat on figures especially if she appreciates the longer journey.
