Australian thoroughbred Tab meetings are today held at Pakenham, Kilmore and Northam.

PAKENHAM: RACE 8 @ 8:45 PM

CAPTAIN CORELLI (2) looked good in landing the prize here last time which followed a solid second placing at previous outing. Extra weight shouldn't pose a problem. Expected to run well. GATE CRASH (1) is a promising galloper who resumes from a break. Form last campaign was strong and does have a recent Traralgon barrier trial under the belt. Should make a bold bid. YELLOWBRICK ROAD (7) is a three-year-old import having his first run for the A & S Freedman yard. Scored on the all-weather at Kempton at his only run. Is one to keep an eye on. HELMITON (3) scored here two starts back and backed it up with a solid effort at Ballarat last time. Is sure to be around the mark.
SELECTIONS: Captain Corelli to win.

KILMORE: RACE 3 @ 2:00 PM

He's becoming hard to trust but DUN WARRIOR (4) should win this if at his best. He started $1.70 last time at Pakenham but pulled up with cardiac arrhythmia. His two runs prior were good enough to win this. RIVINADO (7) has been given a short spell since finishing midfield over 2200m last start. He can run well fresh at this trip. ZAFARANA (12) led and was run down late at Stawell over this trip. Draws wide but should take running down again. EXTASSY (11) has jumped out well since struggling at Kyneton last time. Blinkers added so worth plenty of thought.
SELECTIONS: Dun Warrior to win.

NORTHAM: RACE 4 @ 3:30 PM

HONEY DEW (10) ran on well to grab second over 1000m at this track first up and looks suited rising to 1100m with top jockey Chris Parnham sticking with her. She draws well and should prove tough to beat. BIN SHALAA (11) is racing well, running second at Narrogin last time despite being well beaten. This is a bit tougher and the wide draw isn't ideal but she's got race fitness on her side compared to most of these and that should take her a long way. YOU CAN TELL ME (3) was sound on debut as an odds-on favourite at Geraldton and is open to improvement, while CHEDDAR BOB (8) wasn't far away in all three starts last preparation and should be considered.
SELECTIONS: Honey Dew on top.
