Racing at Sandown-Hillside and Warwick Farm on Wednesday and we’ve got a horse to follow from each meeting.

NERONE winning the The Big Screen Company (Bm78) at Sandown Hillside in Australia. Picture: Racing Photos.

Sandown-Hillside Race 8- Nerone

He's a fantastic wet-tracker this horse and if he can keep finding heavy ground he can keep winning. His last three starts have all rated well with a nice progression and peak here with a soft win. Williams kept him out of trouble out wide and given he was five weeks between runs it's not unreasonable to think he could improve a touch further. Given his official rating he can stay in Bm78 grade and win again provided the ground is heavy he'll be hard to beat next start.

Warwick Farm Race 1- Miyoshi

This was an excellent debut from Miyoshi who started $18 and after settling back in the field, chased powerfully to get within half a length of the odds-on favourite Waverider Buoy. Her Racing & Sports speed rating stacked up very nicely against the day and posted a healthy figure in the process. They gapped third there and with natural improvement Miyoshi looks a coming maiden winner.
