Conditions will be key here with rain forecast on Thursday and Friday, meaning we could end up on a heavy track come race day.

That will suit my best of the day, Fast Talking, who looks a rightful favourite on form which is only enhanced by a wet track. He stuck on well last time here over 2030m behind Barade who he meets here again with a handy 1.5kg weight swing in his favour.

I wouldn't say there's much between them on a dry track but Fast Talking has matched his last start rating on heavy ground in the past, whereas Barade doesn't have a rating on heavy ground that can win this.

Fast Talking also lands in front of Barade again and gets every chance to turn the tables.

Onto the value play and I'll be backing two horses in Race 8 who ran the quinella last start at Sunshine Coast on heavy ground.

Lime Soda got a nice run there over 1000m and capitalised to win well, posting a healthy figure of 92, a new peak. She's clearly come back well and is building a handy record with 4 wins from 7 starts.

The draw isn't as kind this time but she can only run well, as can Princess Bojack who ran 2nd to Lime Soda last start. She's gone under the radar a bit, having beaten the handy Miss Hipstar prior at 40-1.

Consecutive ratings of 90+ and an overall consistent record are too tempting not to have a dabble at 30-1.
