ROSEHILL SATURDAY

RACE 6 (10) FORARAINYDAY: Guy Walter has a strong double chance in the feature Angst Stakes with topweight Skyerush and this up and coming mare who has raced just eight times for two wins and four placings. She resumed with an impressive win over 1100m at the Wyong Cup carnival and then stepped up to on the G3 Sheraco Stakes over 1400m where she finished a solid third behind More Joyous and Skyerush. The best is still ahead of her and with her 3kg advantage over her stablemate she makes strong appeal as a good value bet in an open mares race.

RACE 7 (6) MALAVIO: It was hard to miss the excellent first-up effort from this talented gelding when he recovered from a poor start to finish fifth in a classy G2 field over 1200m behind Pampelonne at Randwick on September 22. That was his first outing since he delivered on his potential to win a Listed race in great style over 1400m at this course in June on a slow track, his sixth win in 15 starts. With an eye on the weather the going should be no concern if affected as he has been placed in all three runs slow tracks and he definitely has the weights in his favour in this easier class with a handy 1.5kg less than he carried when resuming in the Shorts.

RACE 8 (16) AGUEDA: Classy filly takes on older rivals but gets in a with a handy 51kg after the claim for talented apprentice Anthony Allen and will be well suited by the step up to 1200m after having little luck in her three starts in black type races over 1100m since resuming in Melbourne and Sydney. She came off her two Melbourne placings to recover well from trouble at the start to finish third in Heritage Stakes over 1100m at Randwick and will be a worthy gamble in this field, especially if the track is affected.
