Early MAil and Blackbook Update For June 25

3 minute read

Early mail and Blackbook Update for racing on June 25.

RANDWICK SATURDAY

RACE 1 (5) DARK EYES: Good lead that he was scratched from Canterbury on Wednesday for this suitable race after he resumed over 1100m at this course on June 11 with a closing third to Yuma Desert after racing deep and pushed widest on the home turn. He will meet Yuma Desert 1.5kg better and the extra 100m has to be in his favour as both his wins from just six starts have come at 1200m and 1250m.

RACE 2 (9) INFRA DIG: No shortage of pace here and that will play well for this robust Exceed And Excel filly from the Godolphin yard. She was a class above them when she resumed to win over 1100m at Wyong last month before coming from last and striking trouble more than once when finding the line strongly in the heavy ground for third over 1000m at this course on June 11 behind the speedster Conchita. This longer trip in testing conditions will suit.

RACE 7 (10) SUPER TYCOON: Video watchers will not have missed his closing effort over 1200m at this course on June 11 when he ran home strongly from the back after striking trouble to finish just two lengths off the winner Shadow Lord and alongside subsequent Saturday class winner Avonaco. Rates highly to improve further in this similar class over the extra 200m, having recorded two of his three wins at 1350m and 1400m. A big value play will be a quinella with another improver Dubaiinstyle.
