Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays for Australian TAB meetings on September 11
Five TAB meetings are held across Australia on this Friday at Goulburn, Tuncurry, Swan Hill, Cairns & Sunshine Coast.
Swan Hill: Race 3 @ 2:30pm
Rhode Scholar can make the lead and set a good tempo. RHODE SCHOLAR (5) ran along and showed enough at Sale on debut to say this is winnable first-up. Walker's booking is a decent push and expect him to be improved and take plenty of beating in country grade. EXPECTANT (3) is ready to win off the two placings and keeps improving. He draws well and will go close on the 10-day return. SANDHILL (6) came from back to just miss on resumption at Donald. He will push forward today and he's a hope with the handy 2kg claim. KENTUCKY DREAM (4) debuts for a leading yard and will be well-prepared and ready to go. The late market will tell the story. Rhode Scholar's stablemate DUBAWI PRINCE (2) resumes off a Sale debut. Raced new and didn't appreciate the soft track. He will have come on but needs a good ride. SELECTIONS: Anticipating #5 Rhode Scholar is here to win and no surprise if the money comes for the colt.

Goulburn: Race 4 @ 2:25pm
Moderate pace with Inzaghi taking up the running ahead of Close To Me. Not a bad maiden this. LITTLE WHITE LIES (10) had strong backing on debut at Warwick Farm but things didn't go right. She was awkwardly into stride and was chasing her tail from then on. Given plenty of time by the Hawkes camp. Extension upon pressure in a recent city trial was impressive. Expecting a bold showing. INZAGHI (3) is a chance. She's having her first start for the new stable (Ex Anthony Freedman). Rates well on exposed form, despite having had ten cracks at winning one. Be wise to monitor market moves. LAST SHOUT BUDGIE (9) appears a forward type from the Baker yard. She's had a solid grounding ahead of her debut and it wouldn't shock to see her be competitive. CLOSE TO ME (5) had a boom on her early doors but hasn't been able to live up to the hype. Won't know herself in a bush maiden. EGYPTIAN MISSILE (2) best of the remainder. SELECTIONS: Going with Little White Lies.
Sunshine Coast: Race 3 @ 7:00pm
Better Than Groovy can run them along. BETTER THAN GROOVY (6) made a ratings spike winning the 62 easily here 12 days ago back to a good track. That's more than stacks up and he can win again getting a soft ride from the rail. LA JUMENT (5) is promising and just missed resuming at Eagle Farm in stronger and has more to give. He will be fitter and is feared. CONCEALED DYNAMITE (9) has been freshened and comes back to a sprint. Won here three-back and is in the mix. ONE MORE CAST (8) comes to peak and has more to give. SELECTIONS: Expecting #6 Better Than Groovy to have an edge.
