Tuscan Queen became the 151st stakes winner for Coolmore Stud's Fastnet Rock when taking out Saturday's WA Champion Fillies Stakes (Group 3) at Ascot on Saturday. The three-year-old filly, who started favourite, came from near last and defeated Sanabrenna by a length and a quarter.  A $300,000 purchase by Belmont Bloodstock from the draft of Coolmore Stud at the 2018 Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale, Tuscan Queen races in the colours of Bob Peters.

Trained by Grant and Alana Williams, Tuscan Queen is nominated for the WA Guineas (Group 2) and Kingston Town Classic (Group 1) on 7 December. She has now won 3 of her four starts and came into Saturday's race having finished a close second to Kay Cee in the Burgess Queen Stakes (Listed) earlier this month.

She is out of Group 3-winning mare Tavarnelle who produced a colt by Fastnet Rock after Tuscan Queen and has a yearling filly by American Pharoah.
