The John O'Shea-trained Significance (3 c ex Aqua Bella by Oasis Dream) broke his maiden with ease at Wyong on Thursday - the 17th winner in Australia for the Juddmonte Farm-based champion Frankel (Galileo).

Having his sixth career start, the son of Frankel was never out of second gear, drawing clear to post an emphatic seven and a half length victory over the Gerald Ryan-trained Highbury (I Am Invincible).

The colt was purchased by Domeland for $1.1 million at the 2018 Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale from the Arrowfield Stud draft and is out unraced mare Aqua Bella - who is by Frankel's barnmate at Banstead Manor Stud Oasis Dream (Green Desert).

Aqua Bella herself is out of Group 1 winner Aquarelliste (Danehill) making her a half-sister to Listed scorer Ame Bleue (Dubawi) and the dam of fellow Listed winner Art Du Val (No Nay Never), while she is three-quarter sister to Amerique - the dam of Listed winner Maqsad (Siyouni).

Meanwhile, the colt's third dam is Group 3 winner Agathe (Manila) who produced Grade 1 winner Artiste Royal (Danehill) and Listed winner Annenkov (Danehill), while she is also the granddam of Group 2 winner Ziyad (Rock Of Gibraltar) and Listed winner Apache Spirit (Invincible Spirit).

Aqua Bella's Snitzel (Redoute's Choice) two-year-old filly is now named Villanbella and had yet to make her debut and the mare foaled a colt by Written Tycoon (Iglesia) in 2019, while she was covered by Widden Stud's Zoustar (Northern Meteor) last September.

Frankel has had 17 winners from 23 starters in Australia, headed by three stakes winners; Finche, Hungry Heart and Miss Fabulass. Globally has sired another 48 stakes winners, with ten of those winning at Group / Grade 1 level including Cracksman who has won four times at the highest level.

Frankel had two yearlings sell at the Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale earlier this month - the most expensive of the pair was a filly out of multiple Group 1 winner Princess Coup (Encosta De Lago) - who was purchased by James Harron for $670,000, while Michelle Payne teamed up with Sardar Azmoun for a colt by the sire for $500,000.
