The late Aquis Farm stallion Spill The Beans (Snitzel) extended his lead as the leading first crop sire for number of winners when his daughter Little Miss Pixie (2 f ex Pixie Miss by Lucky Unicorn) landed the Win Local News 2YO Handicap (1110m) at Toowoomba on Tuesday.

The Tony and Maddysen Sears-trained two-year-old filly beat Dragon Miss (Hidden Dragon) by a quarter of a length with another length and a half back to Five Oxford (Golden Archer) in third.

The filly is out of five-time winner Pixie Miss (Lucky Unicorn), who is herself out of winning Spinning World (Nureyev) mare Astral Wind.

Astral Wind herself is a half-sister to Port Adelaide Cup (Gr 3, 2500m) winner Vestey (Last Tycoon), the dam of Listed scorer Rutherford Eagle (Favourite Trick), while she is the grandam of VRC Thoroughbred Breeders Stakes (Gr 3, 1200m) Ready To Set Sail (More Than Ready).

Further back this is the family of Listed-winning trio Boots 'N' All (Perfectly Ready), Toms (Towkay) and Air Max (Nadeem).

Spill The Beans covered four books or mares at Aquis' Queensland base before his death last November.
