The Colin Webster-trained Billy Ain't Silly (2 g ex Tiara Mak by Medaglia d'Oro) ran out a convincing winner of the TABtouch Better Your Bet 2YO Plate (1200m) at Belmont on Wednesday and in the process handed first-season sire I’m All The Talk (Stratum) with his sixth first-crop winner. 

The two-year-old pulled clear to beat Empire Reign (Manhattan Rain) by a length with another length and a quarter back to More Snitzel (Snitzel) in third. 

Billy Ain't Silly is out of the unplaced Medaglia d’Oro (El Prado) mare Tiara Mak, who is herself a daughter of WA Guineas (Gr 2, 1600m) winner Kalatiara (Metal Storm), making her a half-sister to Listed scorer Kalahaar (Choisir). 

Kalatiara is a sister to Listed winner Kentiara who in turn produced Group 3 winner Kencella (Exceed And Excel) - the grandam of Jungle Mist Classic (Listed, 1200m) winner Misty Metal (Oratorio). 

Kentiara is also a sister to Antique - the dam of Arcadia (Redoute’s Choice), who produced Kingston Town Classic (Gr 1, 1800m) winner Arcadia Queen (Pierro) and Group 2 winner Arcadia Dream (Domesday), Group 3 scorer Arcadia Prince (Pierro) and Listed winner Arcadia Rose (Kheleyf). 

I’m All The Talk stood his first four seasons at Mungrup Stud, by the son of Stratum (Redoute’s Choice) was purchased by Darling View Thoroughbreds after the Williamson’s decided to sell their bloodstock and he will stand for an increased fee of $6,600 (inc GST) this year, having stood his previous seasons at a fee of $5,500 (inc GST). 

The stallion’s progeny is headed by Group 3 winner Watch Me Dance.
