The late Aquis Farm-based sire Spill The Beans (Snitzel) - who is leading first season sire by number of winners - secured his 13th victor on Thursday as Coffee Coming (2 f ex Cabotage by Drumbeats) chalked up her first victory at the third time of asking in the TAB Maiden Plate (1000m) at Dalby.

Trained by Harry Richardson, the two-year-old filly came out on top of a close finish to defeat Stazzana (Star Witness) by a nose with another two lengths back to Moa's Girl (Love Conquers All) in third.

The two-year-old filly is out of unraced Drumbeats (Redoute’s Choice) mare Cabotage, who is herself out of winning mare Kiss Me All Over (Sequalo).

Kiss Me All Over is a three-quarter sister to Listed winner Bold Glance, while she is a half-sister to the dam of Greenblacks (Green Line Express).

Spill The Beans is currently sitting at the head of Australia’s leading first season sire list by number of winners, with Headwater (Exceed And Excel) sitting second with 11 winners to his name.

The son of Snitzel (Redoute’s Choice) died in November last year.
