Australian Thoroughbred Bloodstock homebred Adandiman scores at Geelong
Former top class international Dandino (Dansili) sired his first winner when Adandiman (3 c ex Mumbeilly by O’Reilly) won a 1400 metre Maiden Plate at Geelong on Sunday. The Australian Thoroughbred Bloodstock homebred scored by three lengths with plenty in reserve indicating brighter things may be install for the attractive colt.
“He’s a nice progressive stayer,” said trainer Mitch Freedman to Racing.com. “We had him down as a possible Derby horse in the spring because he had that nice, relaxed attitude.”
“The South Australian Derby was a pretty hot race last year, and the Tasmanian Derby is coming up too quick. If we can get to a St Leger or something like that who knows. We will see how he goes. If he is not ready to do it we won’t do it, but I think he has a nice staying future.”
