The Leon And Troy Corstens-trained Swats That (Shamus Award) will look to add her first Group 1 win to her CV when she lines up in the William Reid Stakes (Gr 1, 1200m) at Moonee Valley on Friday.

Swats That will once again clash with September Run (Exceed And Excel), who she finished second behind in the Coolmore Stud Stakes (registered as Ascot Vale Stakes) (Gr 1, 1200m).

They met again in the Black Caviar Lightning Stakes (Gr 1, 1000m) with September Run leading home Swats That, running second and third respectively, behind Nature Strip (Nicconi) before Swats That led home September Run, fifth and tenth respectively, in the Newmarket Handicap (Gr 1, 1200m) on March 6.

"I thought her run in the Newmarket was good as she was in the wrong part of the track," Corstens said.

"I would love to see her get a bit of cover which she has been able to do in her two runs this preparation and if we do it should make a lot of difference."

The daughter of Shamus Award (Snitzel) will jump from barrier four in the Group 1.
