Extreme Choice to stand for a private fee

Dissident to relocate while Newgate will announce fees for remaining roster next week.

Extreme Choice.

Newgate Farm has announced their Golden Slipper Stakes (Gr 1, 1200m)-producing stallion Extreme Choice (Not A Single Doubt) will stand for a private fee in 2021.

The son of Not A Single Doubt (Redoute’s Choice) sired his fifth first crop winner on Tuesday with his winners headed by Golden Slipper Stakes winner Stay Inside. His first crop also includes the stakes place pair Extreme Warrior and Tiger Of Malay from a first crop of just 48 foals as well unbeaten colt Palamos, who is trained by Jamie Richards in New Zealand.

"We have worked out through experience and advice that Extreme Choice is most effective in the shed when we cover a restricted book," said Newgate Farm's Henry Field.

"As a result, his book is limited to his shareholders. We will be doing a select number of foal shares as well and I would encourage breeders to put up their better mares for this opportunity."

Extreme Choice is firing at a rate of 42 per cent winners to runners and 25 per cent stakes horses to runners. He is sitting at the head of the leading first season sires table in Australia by earnings just ahead of his barnmate Capitalist (Written Tycoon).

"He is a freak, his stats are off the charts," continued Field. "He is going to make a strong mark on our industry over the next decade or so and we are delighted to have already secured Australia's best two-year-old Stay Inside to stand alongside his father after his racing career."

Breeders interested in accessing Extreme Choice through a foal share in 2021 are encouraged to contact the Newgate nominations team at their earliest convenience as we only have a limited number available.

Dissident (Sebring) will relocate to Riverdene Stud and the fees for the rest of the Newgate stallions will be announced next week.
