Yarraman Park’s supersire I Am Invincible (Invincible Spirit) will stand the 2021 season for an increased fee of $220,000 (inc GST), having stood last season for $209,000 (inc GST), while his son Hellbent will stand for an unchanged fee of $22,000 (inc GST).

The son of I Am Invincible (Invincible Spirit) has enjoyed a good season on the track, siring 15 stakes winners, which includes five juvenile black-type winners, headed by Silver Slipper Stakes (Gr 2, 1100m) winner Home Affairs and New Zealand Group 2 scorer Imperatriz.

The thirst for progeny of the stallion has picked up pace again in the sales ring, with 102 of his yearlings selling for an extraordinary aggregate of $54,805,000, while his average was $537,303. The stallion had nine lots sell for $1 million or more at the Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale earlier this month.

I Am Invincible will once again stand alongside his Group 1-winning son Hellbent and his first crop have been well received by the buying bench at this year’s yearling sales, with 81 of his yearlings selling for a gross of $9,993,537 at an average of $123,377.

Henrich Bloodstock paid the most for a yearling by the sire when they secured the filly out of Group 3-placed mare Jalan Jalan (Foreplay) for $500,000 at the Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale in January.
