The daughter of champion Black Caviar (Bel Esprit ) - Invincible Caviar (I Am Invincible) - has inched closer to a race start after an impressive trial win at Pakenham on Tuesday.

The two-year-old by I Am Invincible (Invincible Spirit) pleased trainer Peter Moody and jockey Brian Higgins with the hit out, but both were keen to keep a lid on her ability.

“It was nice to see her lengthen like that. She’s at a stage now where you can confidently say she’s not no good,” Moody said on RSN 927.

“What ability or where she lies in the food chain will be guided by how she improves off the back of that trial firstly then off the back of a few gallops.

“She’s a metropolitan class filly. Is she going to be a black type filly? Look, she needs to improve more.

“She has done everything right. She has won a trial in good order. Let’s hope we can find a nice two-year-old fillies race for her in a couple of weeks’ time.”

Higgins said the youngster hit the line well, enjoying being back on top of the ground after being given an easy time on a wet surface a few weeks ago.

“She gave me a beautiful as you would expect off a well bred filly like her. I’ve only sat on her a couple of times. It was a good trial, a good feel,” Higgins said.

“I think today on a firmer surface than what she has been on in the past is the key to her today. Without getting carried away, I think she goes okay and she will win a few races.”
