Ole Kirk (Written Tycoon) will again headline Vinery's 2022 stallion roster, but All Too Hard (Casino Prince) and Star Turn (Star Witness) both earned increases after outstanding results so far this racing season.

All Too Hard is up to $38,500 (inc GST) from his 2021 fee of $33,000, while Star Turn will stand for $27,500 (inc GST), which is $11,000 more than last year.

The deeds of the likes of Startantes, Miss Hipstar, Me Me Lagarde and top Kiwi filly La Bella Beals this season have backed up a stellar first season when Star Turn had the best juvenile winning strike-rate.

"His first-season figures were amazing and he's backing it up this season," Vinery's bloodstock manager Adam White said.

"His clearance rate at the major sales this year was 94 percent and they averaged over six-times his current service fee."

Forbidden Love, who added the Group 1 Canterbury Stakes (1300m) and Group 1 George Ryder Stakes (1500m), to her CV this autumn, elevated All Too Hard's star to a new level in Australia this season, while Wellington proved himself a star in Hong Kong.

"I tell breeders All Too Hard is the sort of stallion that can set your young mare up for the future," White said.

"He has sired three Group 1 winners this season; Behemoth and Forbidden Love here and Wellington in Hong Kong."

Ole Kirk (Written Tycoon) will again stand for $55,000, which was the same fee he stood for in his initial season last year, when he covered 170 mares.

Exceedance (Exceed And Excel) ($33,000), Headwater (Exceed And Excel) ($16,500) and Casino Prince (Flying Spur) ($5,500) will all stand for the same fee as last year, while Press Statement (Hinchinbrook) has had his fee reduced from $13,750 to $8,800.

"It's a young roster and we're very happy with the line-up," White said.

"The yearling sales produced more positive results for our sires and prizemoney increases continue to keep the industry buoyant.

"The interest we've received points to another good season but we're mindful of breeders and have tried to keep our fees reasonable."
